Refund and Returns Policy

Right to return

You have the right to return your goods or to cancel an order within the first 14 days following delivery (excluding special order goods– see below). We also reserve the right to refund your purchase minus any carriage charges that we have incurred in fulfilling your order.

For returns outside of the 14 day cancellation period please see below.

Special order goods

Special order goods (“Tailor made” goods or goods from certain manufacturers) are ordered especially from manufacturers and for this reason are non-returnable. We will not be able to accept special order goods back for refund or exchange. This includes all goods that are built to order. We reserve the right to add goods to this list as they become available. Special order goods are not subject to the usual 30 day deliverable window of the The Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013

Correct goods supplied

If we have correctly supplied the goods as ordered then we will reimburse the costs of the goods only. Any carriage costs incurred from the original order or subsequent return will not be refunded.

Incorrect goods supplied

If we have incorrectly supplied the goods ordered we will resupply the correct goods at our expense and arrange return carriage. These costs will be refunded via a Credit or Debit card refund only. If this is not possible for any reason please contact us to arrange alternative remittance.

Incomplete/damaged goods

If the goods are delivered incomplete or have been damaged in transit we reserve the right to replace the goods. If you require a refund, we will reimburse the cost of the goods and arrange collection of the incomplete/damaged goods. We may offer you a partial refund at our discretion if you wish to keep your damaged goods.

You must inform us of damaged goods within 72 hours of delivery. We are unable to accept responsibility for damage to goods beyond these periods.

Warranty/faulty goods

Goods supplied by Four Paw Racing are subject to the warranty set by the manufacturer. We reserve the right to test the goods before exchange. This may require the part to be returned to the original manufacturer.

Before exchanging goods we reserve the right to test the goods thought to be at fault. Payment will be required for any replacement parts sent out before the successful return of ‘faulty’ goods. If goods are returned and found not to be at fault they will be refunded less a 20% administration charge.

The guarantee on parts is limited to the goods themselves. We do not cover any incidental losses or costs incurred in removing and replacing supplied goods that are faulty or thought to be faulty.

Return of goods outside of 30 days of reciept

For all goods returned outside of this period, subject to the goods being returned in their original packaging in a resalable condition, we will issue a refund to the value of the goods less a 20% administration fee.

International returns

If you are returning anything to us from outside of the UK, you must complete a customs declaration correctly indicating that the package contains ‘returned goods’ (or similar wording). If your parcel is stopped at UK customs and a charge is levied, we will refuse payment and the package will be returned to you. Under no circumstances will we pay customs duty in order to receive returned goods.

Return postage

We will not reimburse return postage for goods that were supplied correctly or for unsuccessful warranty claims.

Damage whilst in transit

We will not be held liable if your goods sustain damage whilst being returned to us. It is your responsibility to ensure all goods are correctly packaged and are deliverable safely back to us. In the case the goods are damaged during return transit we will review the packaging photographs you provided and if the goods are shown to be packaged sufficiently and in resaleable condition before return carriage we will pursue the relevant courier for compensation if applicable and process your refund once a successful claim with the courier is processed.

Returning your goods

For any return where a single item is over £500 ex VAT in value We insist upon photographs being provided via email to returns@fourpawracing.co.uk of the goods being in a resaleable condition and the sufficient packaging of the goods for return carriage before return carriage is arranged.

If you do not provide photographs sufficiently detailing the condition and packaging of the goods for return carriage we will not be held liable if your goods sustain damage in transit and we will not provide a refund in the event of receiving damaged goods.

(In plain English, if it’s your fault the goods were damaged in transit it’s your cost to bear. If it’s the courier who is responsible for damaging the goods in transit we will chase the courier and you will get your refund. If you don’t provide us photographs we cannot claim from the courier that the goods were appropriately packaged! So please send us those photos!)
